Smaller class ship, with less capacity of passengers but with a slightly better crew-passenger ratio compared to Mariner (2.4 vs 2.6). In fact, Mariner is part of the largest class of cruise ships in the Princess Cruise company.

Took a cruise in its sister ship - Diamond Princess for my Alaska cruise trip.

Oops mariner of the sea is Royal Caribbean, not Princess Cruise...
