a lot of ppl are being mis sold products and dont even know it
problem being time horizon too long 15 to 25 years
by then they already forgotten what they bought alr

met ppl telling me prudential give them 5.25% guaranteed for endowment plan

and they think its the best plan in the world, nothing can come close, dont even wan to listen to u
sometimes dunno wan to laugh at them, shoot them or pity them

If a tied agent don't even know their own company product, they need to be shot.

I am an agent myself and I feel that it is important to establish your needs. If you need savings, long or short term? short-endowment, long-life/ilp (protection + LT savings, why not). Purely protection-term. For endowment especially, it is important to look at the returns properly to ensure the returns you are getting tallies with what the agent said.

1) term plan covering death, tpd and ci
2) h/s plan
3) emergency funds
4) invest
5) live within your means aka spend less than you earn

TS why dun you consider POSB invest saver. there is no need for insurance if u wan to save. there are many option. insurance should be for protection not saving. Go search about ILP how many cancel them. before committing to any policy read properly and you will be shock how much u spend on commission.

TS, just buy etf. The amount of money you make ll be higher than any of such endowment plans. It only ensure high commission for the agents.

Insurance is for pure protection. Use tools like etf for long term investment and saving.

posb invest saver will be able to get dividend. where got charges other than when u buying will get 1% charges. ILP charges is far more than that. ILP always need very long to even break even. totally not worth it.

You are an agent, and you feel that its important you need to prey on people to fulfill your established needs.

For endowments especially its important to look at the amount of commissions you will be getting before advising carrot heads to ensure the $$$$$$$$$$ you will be getting is maximized.

ILP and higher risk endowment is the best of the best plans, it makes sure you can pay for your satki BMW's installment every month.

At the end of the day, hell has a special place for people like you.

Etf gives out dividend. I have been getting dividends for years.

Compared the low charges of etf and the commission u are paying to the agents and u let us know which one is to yr advantage.

Gg another misleading agent

Bobian, those losers can't survive without cheating. Is because they have no skills, no talents and no value to society then they just choose the path of a fraudster to cheat people.

If you can save on your own, you can invest the money. Get all the protection plans before starting on the saving plan. It should always be the last!
