Is not supposed to work. Transferwise would be considered third-party transfer for saxo. Normally you can only do first party transfer (that is from a *bank* account in your name, transferwise may try to look like, but isn't a bank).

I don't use Saxo, but I guess you could transfer the USD to a multi currency account then to Saxo? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes but the fx fees is quite high

If you want to chase high interest as well, use Multiplier account (it's a multi currency account too).

If you just want to use as an intermediary for your transfer to Saxo, use My Savings account. No fall below fee.
