If only 2 person applying, the other person for 1 chance and you got 2 chances, it means they place 3 ballot slip into a bowl, 2 are yours and 1 the other party.. When draw lot, you have better chance being picked.. 2 out of 3,.. Understand?. Hehe

Hi 5! Bro, you stand more chance! I applying non mature estate, woodlands. Wonder how many PPS on this area. By received the letter, doesn't carry any meaning, just a letter for notification.

Same here got the letter yesterday.

PPS with MCPS hope that i get a chances on my kallang 4 rm.

which estate you got in the end? Toa payoh may be expensive but it is a VERY good location. :)

Of course it is good location. But again, I am thinking long run. Nowadays house is not an investment - go for something you can pay off comfortably.

What if your SO one day cannot work? You want to handle the burden of handling 1-1.5k monthly cash if CPF finish? Can you imagine that your savings of 10k will not last your 10 months in the event of jobless times? Especially when your parents also getting older and need your help? Or if your children (touch wood) do not turn out so well and dependent on you? Or for yourself who might need medical care?

Selling house also not so easy. Now already oversupply with more incoming. You might not be able to sell off.. rental also might not be so feasible as I heard the pinoys tend to rent together in condo.

A lot of factors for me la as I not high SES :s13: So better be safe than sorry as it is a lifelong commitment and it will affect how you will be during old age. I prefer house not to be a burden to me and save cash for future :)

Received the letter as well, doesn't mean that we are guaranteed low queue number right?
