I believe this merely gives me additional ballot chances. It's really pure luck... even a second timer can get a queue number 1 with just 1 ballot chance.

so how does the extra ballot chance works? all tikum? or match statistic and profile?

4 units only, ok la. Did you see any units better than your current selection? This round no West Crest 5R.

I guess the units supplied are all relatively the same so what you get is highly dependent on your queue number. Some are even repossessed flats. Apart from West Crest, I’d prolly land myself in West Rock. After Skypeak, West Crest is one of the earlier blocks to TOP hence the units left. Which one are you eyeing for this time round?

Anyone got an appointment for key collection already? How long did it take for grant approval?

Yes, booked my unit on 14th May and 2 days later received my key collection date scheduled just a week later. My unit has already TOP, 5 room had no grant and HLE was all approved beforehand.

I see... actually i didnt include a BTO n 2 ROF applications...

Feb 18 BTO Teck Whye Vista no number
May 18 SBF no number
Aug 18 ROF Q number 2x available flats
Nov 18 SBF Q number 1.6x available flats
Feb 19 ROF Q number 2x available flats
May 19 SBF.... hopefully number is within available flats.

Even with near parents priority, didnt work for us at all.

I think ultimately it depends on your luck. My fiance and I got really lucky as it’s our first time applying, during Nov 18 SOB exercise with the near parent scheme. Managed to get a number within the supplied units. Hopefully your luck is better this time round! 😀🤞🏼 @terrorblade and you too!

Sigh.. mine was 4rm... and on 16 May, all units taken, even #2 units. I was quite shocked to see tt cos' we prepared the documents for the appt to select. This time may apply for 5rm instead.

This is bound to happen especially with a balloting system unlike resale whereby it’s an open market. The unit we wanted got selected just 30 mins before us and we had to quickly relook all the options we had left or to forgo our appointment.

Hi all, just got an invitation to this SBF with a queue number that’s diff, CN2XX, and it states that this is beyond the allocated number of flats.

should i still hope on having flats available on my allocated date? I’ve never see the CN prefix before for queue numbers, “ChiNese”?

the listing of available flats is darn long, how do you manage to get ahold of all the flat layouts of your interested units?

pardon my many questions, thank you in advance for any answers! :)

There's still chance but it depends on the number of drop outs. the higher the dropout, the higher your chance to select a unit.

For prefix mine is also CN, but not sure what it means also. Previous queue was another prefix.

Hi, thank you for your response.

I see, from the HDB site i could see the current queue number as 000XXX
so i thought my prefix was something uncommon.

thanks!

Mine is CN19X! No idea what the prefix is either. Hope the dropout rate increases!

Congrats! I booked my flat on April 12th. Still waiting for the grant processing team to give their green light. My guess is that you had no grant and is therefore able to skip this entire step and collect the key much earlier.
