Did you really read the manual? And if you are not having issues, best is to leave it.

I would like to know too.
Just bought a z87i-pro last week.
If the board is working fine and there is yellow light on this led. what error does it means? not enough juice to the 8pin power or too much ripple detected by the MB?

@Asus@sg, pls clarify.

should be referring to the south bridge power. It's led remaining lit to indicate power is active, a red led meaning something this wrong.

That's my theory

why r u hitting on ts, when the manual doesn't explain what yellow light & sbpw mean?

THANKS! and yes, the manual really doesnt explain what is sbpw and what the led codes mean. it just says that thats a prob w that. n obviously not everyone is technical enough to know whats sbpw ='(

no its not. firstly there is "no problem". my system is functioning well. just that taking a peep on my motherboard while the system is powered on, i realised that this LED is ON, n upon reading the manual, its apparently a problem.

the light is still there. idk whats the exact prob...

maybe it's not a problem at all, as i mentioned it could be the south bridge power indicator....

perhaps Asus can confirm that (which he/she should).
