Then u got to check is it Dec or Jan and the average daily balance(ADB) in Jan. the 3.6% is for incremental amount with reference to Jan average daily balance. If ur ADB in Jan is low, say $5k, any amount higher than that will earn 3.6% while the low amount will earn the base interest. For eg, in Feb u have $25k ADB, u will get 0.05%*5k + 3.6%*(25k-5k). U do ur maths and see if it is worth it for u to go and check ur ADB in Jan.

"same" monies work. SCB esaver works if you just pump in more money, that's all they require of you. Just that you wont get the interest on the full sum that you have

Alternatives are HSBC EGA for bank account, others maybe money market (bonds)

Why not ? If you started with zero ADB, won't you get the % x (monthly ADB -0) for each month?

The context is that gobin74 already enrolled in esaver Dec/Jan promo.

Participating in Feb/Mar promo means the ADB is based on JAN 2024 which is not zero
