Whether you should or should not is a personal decision. nobody can make that decision for you. You should be asking yourself why do you want to up PES considering why you are PES E9 in the first place

You are still not addressing the “why do you want to do it qns”

Honestly i wanna lose some weight off , be in the frontline, gain some experience , i know it won’t gonna be easy but it’s worth giving a try for once in a lifetime. Well different people have different thoughts and opinions. At the end of the day it’s totally up to my MO to up pes or not.
If cannot up pes then it’s fine la , i at least i ‘tried’ .

Dont think they'd want to risk someone with hypertension to do frontline

You can lose some weight in a lot of ways without up PES.

You want to gain what experience specifically? Can gain experience without up PES also what?

I know of some buff guys, especially db and kayak racing who were E9 with heart conditions and MO refusing to up PES after futile visits to the medical center, but goes to the gym and training now and then without anyone telling them to do so.

It is all in the discipline.

Up pes at most warrant a higher appointment that you could tell your friends that you are a specialist, officer or commander, but it is afterall to fulfil the organization needs and not primarily your desires in their decision making process.
