Hi, I just have a question about posting out after BMTC Tekong to SPF or SCDF as OCT. Just wondering if those few of you who have moved to MHA can enlighten me on the intakes and processes, speaking generally of course :
1. I seem to notice a pattern - are the intakes for SPF NSPI courses in March and September each year, while those for SCDF Rota Commander Course in June and December? Does that mean when a REC passes out in June, he can only possibly go to SCDF and not SPF? Or am I mistaken and there are more than 2 intakes per batch per year?
2. About how many get into each of the SPF OCT NSPI and SCDF RCC courses? i.e., what is the batch size approx.?
3. (This one might be a bit difficult, but v grateful if anyone has any idea) : How are BMTC recruits selected for NSPI and RCC courses, if the SITEST and such are military oriented? Or are they selected from those who are already selected for OCS? IIRC, any interviews or surveys don't include preference for crossing over from SAF TO MHA.
