we booked tickets back from bkk to sg via scoot, due to some promo. our flight is on 4 september 2014. received a text and e-mail today that Scoot has changed operation from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Mueang Airport. can like that one meh...?

wth.... it's so inconvenient to travel there lah pls with our baggage somemore.

called asking why never tell before people confirm booking. their answer is ouh we only receive this information recently also so we cannot tell our customers earlier. knn. disrupt people's travel plans, can ah?

Budget airline = budget service. Can't complain about it.
Read their budget terms and conditions, I'm sure they do state it.

Be glad they at the very least, PAY and eat into their own BUDGET to send you an sms to inform way in advance.

DMK is better. Faster clearance which i like, almost same distance to city like Suvarnabhumi. (Just no MRT though)

it was originally scheduled to move in may.. got pushed back 3 months so very good liao :s13:
source : NokScoot alliance adds to Don Mueang competition | Bangkok Post: business

i go bangkok via budget every 1 or 2 months, next month on scoot should be my last flying on wide-body type aircraft through suvarnabhumi. jetstar and tiger on A320.

in future, unless there's very good promotion for scoot, i foresee i will be taking the 3 other low cost carriers more often. airasia > scoot @ don mueang because of more flight timings

any diff between this new airport vs the other main airport?

Scoot will be flying to don muang, don muang by right is domestic airport if not wrong. Heard from my sister who took airasis landed there, said that there nothing much to walk ... International airport is better. Got train directly to pratunam :)

Sep onwards, scoot will join airasia to land at don muang.
Jetstar tiger cx sq tg will land international :)
