if you are asking how low the price can get, you can get under 150(with bags) for 1 pax. Air Asia also gives good prices... of course there is lionair, but quite unsafe..

SQ is $1046 but the timings for the flight is not favorable.

I did the research and air asia is $1022. Scoot is the cheapest with seat selection and baggage but no food though.

Ive never flown scoot before but less than 2 hour flight should be ok?

I wont take lionair if traveling with kids. Had a bad experience with them.

On the way back to SG,they will squeeze you inside bus to go to another terminal. My kids almost suffocated and I had to make sure there are sufficient space for them. My first and last time taking lionair.

I always stick with SIA nowadays.

From what I know, normally they would use 2 buses to fetch passenger flying on smaller aircraft, boeing 737-800 (lionair for short distance from Singapore), a320 (jetstar, airasia, scoot) ...
Despite using 2 buses, still quite cramp

Seems a little overpriced imo. If you check in early you'd normally be seated together without the need for paying to reserve seats. Even if you do include seats and baggage the base fares for the holiday period is around 100-120 return for scoot.
