Would like to check if anyone has done this.

Decided to fly with Scoot to Tokyo, but on the return sector, would like to do a stopover in Taipei for a couple of days.

Heard that you can only do individual booking, as in book 3 one-ways:

1. SIN-NRT
2. NRT-TPE
3. TPE-NRT

Is there any other way to do this and also to save costs?

your hour plus is transit. what i mean is stayover in taipei for 2 days then make my way back to SG after.

what i know of is this. or else is book scoot to-and-fro SG-TPE-SG, then book Vanilla Air to-and-fro TPE-NRT-TPE, but I think will even cost more and waste time, as i doubt i can take the 7.35 flight, which means have to wait till 15.35 and reach Tokyo at night, instead of late morning.

I wonder if i already bougt a Tokyo > Taipei > Singapore flight from scoot, e.g on Jan 3. Can I can forfeit the Tokyo>Taipei leg and buy another extra plane ticket from Tokyo>Taipei on Jan 1? Then on Jan 3 go Taipei airport to collect my remain scoot ticket from Taipei > Singapore

Actually I just noticed a Multi-City Option on Scoot's site.

But it has only 2 options, not sure why cant they input 3.

There shouldn't be any cost savings if you book roundtrip as compared to one way (unless it's a promotion) cause they charge by one way.

Credit card charges is based on the price of the tickets I think

cc fees is based on per person per sector :)
Scoot can use offline payment, if your fare is not sales promo fare :)
Jetstar can use offline payment
tiger can use axs 5 sgd per booking , not per person per way

For this you will need to inform Scoot beforehand, else they will assume you are not traveling with them and void your ticket.
Source: I work at the airport. Seen a case exactly like this before. Not v happy people, had to purchase another set of tickets back home.
