So I only really know of them on the institutional/markets side, but they're a perfectly respectable shop. Canadian banks always have a pretty good reputation, and Scotia's especially active on the metals side (their metals trading arm, ScotiaMocatta, has a heritage going back to the mid-1700s). Not huge, but a good place.
