Nowadays does anyone goes to the scrap yards and source for parts?

If you do, mind if you could share the location of the place??

I'm driving a '96 Nissan March..

Near republic poly... just before the big chinese temple there is a scrapyard nearby there...

I went there recently, not sure if its the one hpv500 mentioned

I stay at wdl 20 over years till today than I know the temple there got a scrapyard shop. To say that I always go that temple Bai Bai.

How recent cars do they have? GE Fit/Jazz? Civic FD? Or are we talking EG Civic era cars?

depends on luck. For example, my GD - 1st entry is 2002/03 so normally scrapyard have more of these parts (from accidents scrapped cars / End of COE cars)

. Newer car like GE (entry is 2007/08?)... the parts available are usually from accidents scrapped cars?

Of course getting parts from stockists are good options whereas salvaging from parts in scrapyards can have good savings.

its the same shop where workshop buy their car parts from then charge you for profit + labour charges.
