Screeching noise coming from desktop.

I have replaced my RAM from 2x2 to 4x2 so its 8gb now.

However, i have been hearing screeching noise coming from the motherboard, probably coming from the RAM.

I've tried memtest and when im running memtest, there seems to be no screeching noise produced, however when i stopped memtest, the screeching sound returns. May i know what is the problem? The screeching noise is very irritating.

The ram doesn't have any moving parts so I doubt that is the cause of the sound. Mostly like one of the fans that may be the cause of it.

Could be GPU/PSU coil whine.

Check your hdd your cpu fan front fan and back fan. This are the things that usually will screech in a long run.

Not ram.
