Screen freezes while playing games

Hi guys, my screen freezes everytime I play a game. Is anyone able to help me figure out what is the issue with my 2 year old com.

CPU: Intel i5-3550
Mobo: ASROCK Z77 Pro 3
Ram: 2 x Corsair PC10600/1333MHz 4 GB
SSD: ADATA 60GB S510 sandforce 2.5" SATA III
HDD: WD 1TB Blue 32MB 3.5" SATA III
GPU: MSI 1024MB GTX560 Ti 0.C DDR5 PCI-E
PSU: SEASONIC M12II Modular 620W 80+

software
OS: Win7 Home Premium
Antivirus: Kaspersky

Does it happens other than gaming or just gaming alone?

Might wanna check on the GPU drivers itself. Try going back to an older driver and see if it helps.

If not gotta check on your rams also by downloading memtest86 and see if there is any errors.

The issue mainly occurs when playing a game. How do you go back to an older device driver? Is there any step by step guide on how to do this? I will try out memtest86 now.

You can download it from nvidia's website. There is one link that will show you their previous drivers.

I have done the default memtest86 check. There were 0 errors.
I have reverted my graphics driver to an older one(335.23->334.89). Now When I play, I will get a bsod instead. The information shown on the screen is Stop: 0X00000116 and
nvlddmkm.sys.

I have done the error checking of my C Drive and used the Microsoft memory diagnostic tool. Both checks could not find any errors.

off c1e state c6/7 and stuff from power saving might help. go try it! the only problem is idle wont save alot of power. but its better than unable to use the pc right. lol

I have tried turning off c1e c6 and c7 state. My computer screen still freezes when playing games though. Any other suggestions?

how about all the other power saving state?

basically just off everything there from power saving.

Send your gpu for warranty.

You're facing the same issue as my 560ti sonic card.

your card has system hang issue. It will happen when you view HD video at youtube as well as gaming.
