Indian one will have lots of drama, shouting, challenging etc before fighting.
Chinese those days once the order given to piak. They go there, straightaway attack. Find the target and go for him. No warning, no talk.
If wanna talk then they would have settlement talk before or after. Settlement talk usually no fights but of course sometimes will have.

What abt malay gangs?

Basically same as Indians but outnumbered one. say 7 v 1 like that.
All this in the past lah, now I don't know.
Those days Chinese gangs all mainly Chinese same for other races. Although may have an 'other races section'.
But they realised that membership was going down, so they allowed other races to join somewhere in the 1980s.
Those days really got initiation ceremony and all. My friend had to go through. Heck even 2 my elder brothers were gang members back in the day.
