Seagate Hard disk dying

Hi,

I recently encountered blank screen with error message "S.M.A.R.T Hard disk. Status Bad". Is it that my hard disk is dying? I using Seagate brand and still under warranty. Anyone know where I can make a replacement? I bought the fuwell shop at sim lim square. Please help. Thanks.

go register online seagate website and key in your HDD serial number for RMA. They will provide 2 address for you to RMA.

My new hard disk 2 tb from Seagate not working when I try to use it as an external hard disk. I bought it from Fuwell at simlim square. it cannot be format.

WD is better, less fault tolerance!

To be objective, all hard drive will fail eventually. But based on my experience, Seagate has one of the worst track record in terms of failing drives.
