Seagate RMA drives

Hi guys,

Received a RMA drives from Seagate and can't boot up at all. It was the same reason that I send back the drive for RMA. Is it just me or this batch of drives got problem?

This is FreeAgent GoFlex Desk that I'm using.

don't think you can use that as an external boot drive?

if not, try different USB ports, check the external power brick, check power to the external power brick, etc...

when you bought this hard drive? What about the warranty, ask them change the new 1 for you lo... Did you ask the technical support why your hard drive can't boot up at all?

are you using super old pc and does it support USB booting ?

did you set your boot order to look for usb to boot first instead of your internal HDD ?

TS, are you using the Seagate as usb drive or to use as boot drive?
