The casting call for the 2025 edition of the Miss Universe Singapore pageant will begin soon.

Open to Singaporean women aged at least 18 years old as of this year, the competition comes with a grand prize of S$10,000.

The winner will also win a dental makeover at Orchard Scotts, management by pageant partner Basic Models, and will represent Singapore at the international Miss Universe competition.

The first and second runners-up will get S$5,000 and S$3,000 respectively, and management under Basic Models.

The top 15 finalists will get a cash prize of S$500 each.

How to sign up

Sound enticing? Aspiring contestants can submit their applications online from Jun. 2.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a closed-door audition on Jun. 29, from 10am to 4pm.

Local brands are also invited to come onboard in partnership with the competition.

In a press statement on May 29, the competition organiser said: "Miss Universe is not a beauty contest".

Rather, it is a development platform for women to champion causes, build careers, and pursue opportunities in media, fashion, and entertainment, the statement said.

Elaine Daly, national director of Miss Universe Singapore, added: "We are proud to champion a platform where diversity, intellect, and individuality take centre stage. We are looking for women who are unafraid to be seen and heard.”

then why bother with the makeup, makeover, dressing etc? just get the women to dress in whatever they want, put whatever makeup or dont put makeup and just go champion whatever superficial cause they want to champion
