Seasonic m12ii cables question

In 2010 I bought seasonic m12ii bronze power supply unit and it came with sleeved cables in flexible mesh, photos https://imgur.com/a/Xabp22V it is noisy so I removed it and replace with a new one in 2017

In 2017 I bought seasonic m12ii bronze evo edition power supply unit and it came with flat black cables, photos https://imgur.com/a/dYS23J6

I read that evo edition is newer version and Haswell certified, source https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/4qmnf1/seasonic_m12ii_vs_s12ii_vs_evo_series/

Question 1: If my 2017 seasonic m12ii bronze evo edition power supply unit flat black cables is faulty, can I use the 2010 seasonic m12ii bronze power supply unit sleeved cables in flexible mesh cables to attach it to 2017 seasonic m12ii bronze evo edition power supply unit, will it work correctly?

Question 2: Did this cable, photo https://imgur.com/a/76gPJ2H come with the seasonic m12ii bronze power supply unit I bought in 2010? (i found this cable with the psu cables i bought in 2010). If no, any idea what component does this cable comes with?
