I've tried a few things over the years. Laser facials are good for maintenance of skin, botox for the reduction of my jaw line, and fillers which I decided weren't for me and didn't try again.

But the one thing that made the big difference immediately was a thread lift.

I did this back in early September with Dr Chee Yew Wen from The Chelsea Clinic Wheelock.
Its a pretty fast procedure and doesn't hurt as I had local anaesthetic but the immediate effect was a tighter and more lifted look. Definitely more V shape. This was obvious from my before and after shots and everyone I showed them to was quite amazed. I was too!

No downtime - I was back at work having meetings the same morning.

When I went back to see Dr Chee this week he said my skin looked so much better and this is the effects of the threads which are stimulating the collagen under the skin. Over the past few weeks I actually felt that my skin was more youthful looking and I don't look so saggy. Am very pleased with the results and thought I would share with those who are interested to know how to take 10 years off their looks.

For anyone that's considering something like this its totally worth it

Argan oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil can be combined to make home remedies to help keep skin looking young and moisturized. Essential oils can help with acne and acne scars. Natural remedies are great for keeping skin young and healthy.

How long can the effect last?

After that do you need to go back for maintenance? How many times and how much?

I had double chin problem, wish to make my chin/jaw more defined.

it lasts about 12 months. the thread will dissolve by then

It should be able to help double chin problem but you need to consult doctor to be sure.

My wife went and did it too last week!

12 months later it will return to the look that just before you did the thread lift?

So it is like every year must do once and spend $2000.

May I know your age?

I don't really know how I will 12 mths later but I understand it lasts 12-18 months.

There are different ways that you can get the lifted look. Mine was thread. The effect was immediately obvious and many of my friends said they can see. Before and after photos showed the immediate difference

Other ways for tightening are HIFU (High Intensity Focus Ultrasound). I have not tried because I went for thread, but it is an option.

There is also Radio Frequency treatments. The principle is that the HIFU or RF will stimulate the collagen growth and it is the collagen that provides the natural structure that keeps everything firm.

Thread is like a physical structure that keeps everything firm. Basically it pulls you back up!

Age....Late 40's but apparently I do not look my age....

both have lifting effect but methods are different.

HIFU use ultrasound technology and non invasive. Stimulates collagen under the skin and tightens

Threadlift is minimally invasive. Thread inserted under skin and will physically lift the sagging parts. The thread also stimulate collagen growth so less sagging which means you look more lifted

Various websites have these carrier oils. Amazon has these carrier oils. One website in particular, Swanson Health Products, has these carriers oils. They ship internationally, as well.
