Good Day guys!

I seek help and advice regarding my current situation.

I installed all my System files in C:/ (SSD) whereas all application installation has been directed to E:/ (HDD)

Currently my E:/ seems to be having issue with bad sectors and am looking to replace the HDD.

Can anyone advice on the method to proceed where I may clone E:/ to the new HDD without impacting the overall system?

Humbly accepting all advice~

Hi,

You can use Acronis True Image WD edition (free from WD website) to clone your HDD.

However, as you have a problem with bad sectors, it is possible that some files may be corrupted. I would suggest copying all data to your external HDD and reinstall all the applications on the new HDD. Transfer the data back from the external HDD to the new HDD.
