Would like to seek advice with the experts here..

My monitor is having the following problem

im8h4v

Would like to check what are the possible causes?
I am suspecting the graphic card gone case.
Wish to check before finding possible solutions

Other info
-Can boot in safe mode.
-Able to view with no issue when connected via laptop using VGA cable.
-Graphic card(MSI R7850) and motherboard last changed in Sep 2015.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

GPU maybe uplorry. Unplug and reinsert GPU? Switch PCIe power plug? Try another PCIe slot or PC? Try another cable?

Thanks! I have a try on what you mentioned..

Have tried using another vga cable.Initially using dvi. Same issue.

this case most likely is faulty gpu....lifespan of gpu is around 1~3 years.
monitor can lasts more than 10 years++

these was what recommend by those techies, waste time tho...
- Re-seat gpu. Sometimes loose...will cause lines....
- Switch cable. Maybe some elephant step on it..who knows...
- Re-install driver. Corrupted driver....no ideas
- Malware. Don't ask me...i just re-install my os.

This is what i do to double confirm...
-Plug into on board gpu...
-Use old/existing gpu from other PC to confirm the root problem.
