Seeking DIY Troubleshooting help

Hi, I had encountered some issues DIYing a Ryzen 5 2600x CPU on a Gigabyte Aorus B450M motherboard running a MSI RX580 Armour OC GPU and would like to seek experts for advice over here.

I have encountered some trouble while assembling this PC and am at my wits end trying to troubleshoot the issue.

Upon assembling my PC, it was working fine initially, then after plugging my LAN cable, and restarting the system, the screen refuses to boot up. At first I thought it was a GPU alignment issue so I had reinstalled my card physically on the motherboard. But upon switching on the system, the graphics is not showing anything. Power is being supplied to the system as the CPU fan, RAM lights and GPU fans are running. If so, can I rule out the motherboard?

My monitor is working fine upon connecting it to my laptop so that rules out the monitor. Everything is new and it had successfully booted up once.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try resitting your RAMs also.

My rams often give my issue, everything powered but no display in screen. Resitting them often works.

You using DP cable to your monitor? If yes try plug out and plug in again

Hi Thanks for the advice, will try it out later in the evening. But just to seek additional clarification. My system did actually boot to Windows once, now it doesn't even display the BIOS after I plugged in my Lan port.. So is there a chance I might have to re seat everything? Can I safely say It's not a MB issue?

You using DP cable to your monitor? If yes try plug out and plug in again

I had connected my PC using HDMI cable. I had tried plugging in and out several times. Still no display or BIOS or anything.

Try unplugging LAN cable and see if it does boot up. Once you established a last known working status, plugin component one by one. At your situation, you cannot assume everything is working (including your LAN cable)

Hello, I’ve tried reseating the rams however it still doesn’t work. After taking apart the system and installing each module one by one I noticed that the LED of the front panel of my motherboard is flashing red, indicating that the DRAM is faulty. I’ve reseated both modules separately and each ram module gave a red LED. Does this mean my rams are faulty? ANd definitely not my MB? Anyway to savage the situation? My system did boot up initially…… bought them from Newegg....

Pretty sure I didn't plug anything wrongly cause the rams are lighted, the fans are spinning and the motherboard is lighted as well. Just that the Red LED is flashing and stated that the RAMS are faulty. I intend to test the rams out to determine if this is true. If not, I can only conclude that somehow, the motherboard spoilt on me.
