Seeking for Budget Laptop Recommendation

Hi all, my budget for a laptop is in the range of SGD 300 - 500. I'm looking to get one for simply transferring files to cloud and basic work-related matters.

Doesn't matter if it's HDD or SSD. A good CPU and 8GB is ideal. Don't need graphics card.

For your stated purpose, better off using office or school PC? Its free anyway.

8GB ram DDR4 alrdy cost $100-150 liao... Most super budget laptop have 2-4GB ram nia. Perhaps a better solution would be to get 2nd hand from carousell. 4GB ram shld be good enough as well.

Get 2nd hand. Just sold off my $599 laptop at less than 40% after using for less than a year.
Don't bother with laptop without ssd, budget processor and 4gb ram. You get tired of waiting.
Boot up slow, surf net slow and cannot even watch YouTube smoothly. For my primary kid to do online work, also too slow to load the website.

Up your budget to 800, there are much wider choice.
In the end spend more money. Haiz...

But 8GB not possible.

But $500 Possible for ITX or SFF Desktop.

Buy used. Thinkpad/Dell Latitude $200+ can get a pretty good one already. Minimum new laptop worth buying is like $800, to get a Core i3 with SSD.
