I set up a small form factor PC in my bedroom connecting to TV via HDMI, more than half a year ago. I was thinking that I would use it to watch videos, online streaming, football via streaming, etc. But till now, I mostly use it to watch videos that I downloaded (US/HK/KR dramas) that I downloaded and saved in NAS). I mostly watch football on my desktop which is in my study room.
I think this PC is under utilized. It is i3, 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD. The casing is small so cannot fit in other HDD. I am thinking if I should convert it into a NAS/file server? Am thinking of using either Fedora or CentOS, because I am studying/going to study for RH cert. The only way I convert it into NAS, is to use a 2 or 4-bay storage case, like PROBOX right?
As for video watching, I am going to try out MK902, which seems to fit my requirements.
