Hey, just chanced upon this. I rely heavily on D3.js and Raphael, both excellent JS libraries for charting with SVGs. Just a note of caution though, a lot of older browsers don't support SVG so be careful with it and try to make sure your modules degrade gracefully, otherwise...you know what happens otherwise.

Anyway fwiw, D3.js has pretty good features for binding JSON/XML, in case you want to integrate your application with a RESTful API that spits out either of these two data formats.
