Seems Like Land Codes Got Abolished?

Received a call today from CMPB on the finalised PES and excuses for my enlistment.

Was told that land/naval/air codes are no longer in use. The CMPB PES webpage also has no more info on it.

Seems like now each individual gets specific excuses based on the condition(s) that led to their PES grading instead of a blanket code.

And the list shows that SPF now also has PES E intakes? Thought previously PES can't end up in the police force?

if that still bugs u in mind abt the PES status, give ns.sg hotline a call or send email bah
anyway the ns portal is down for maintenance until 2359 of sunday

No lah not really bugged by the new system of PES status, just curious since now there is even less info about each PES category as to what each grade will likely be posted to. Not that the previous system's table was very informative to start with...

i suppose with falling birth rates (will impact future numbers that can be enlisted) and change of dynamics, i believe they will have to review the PES codes periodically

if not liddat hw to maintain numbers that can be deployed for operational duties etc?
