I'm thinking of getting a APC UPS after my house had a series of blackouts due to electrical wirings.

How do i select one? I see many choices in APC website. should i select based on wattage or VA? i only need to keep my desktop on long enough for the auto shutdown feature to kick in.

Thanks!
