Selection of computers

Sorry if this is a wrong thread to post, but i am not sure where else to post it.
I have decided to get a computer, and i am deciding between Acer Predator or Asus ROG.
So I have look into some chioces(at the price) at decided on either of these.

Anyone can help me compare between these two and give me some opinion on which to buy? Thanks

If u want my advice, I would buy neither. Diy can get u better parts/cheaper prices.

Both are using graphics card from the previous generation and is no longer considered bang for buck.

But if u want the warranty, just grab either is fine. Otherwise, head to the buyers sticky thread in this sub forum and list your expectations and budget.

Didn't want to DIY because i have no experience,also nobody teach me in real life. I scared i screw up than gg already. I know theres a lot of youtube tutorial but yeah....
For the graphic card I can actually upgrade them next time right? I just have to bring it to computer shop isn't it? Just that how do I know if the graphic card is suitable or not/ can i fit them into the casing?
Sorry, I am a noob about computer. Also for the graphic card( as in the photo) what games can i play?( eg most suitable game 2D,3D and examples)

yes gpu can always upgrade next time.
yes u can bring it to a computer shop which sells gpu and let them see and decide which gpu best fits.

games wise almost all current games med-high settings, but acer have better gpu. resolutions all still best gaming @1080p

but tbh i rather u go for aftershock, more customization.

well in terms of all these prebuild system, thierupgrades normally have a lot of limitations, unless u are fine with their max limitations den its fine. otherwise just go with aftershock.

sadly for prebuild system there isnt much u can ask them to upgrade unless they are allow to do so. otherwise just choose whichever u can afford and play with it.

as for previous gen as compare current gen is performance is somewhere 1.5~2 times and have better power efficiency.

The specs are identical for both so go with the brand you prefer. The RAM is already 16gb so it's more than enough.

You can ask them to upgrade GPU but be prepared to pay more than $2k for a GTX 970. Current gen GTX 1060 performs similar to GTX 980. Why don't like Aftershock? You can get a 1060 with similar specs and price as those 2.

For GTX 970 its 2.2k if i aint wrong. Is the 960 a big difference from 970?

I had learnt a lot here by asking the bros here and already working towards getting my first DIY PC. It is a never ending journey but now at least I know what I am buying and what I am getting.
