Self Drive in Taichung

Hi bros~

Am planning to do a self drive in Taichung as am kinda last minute, so did not book any driver or the Xinshe bus tour and the rates i see are about 3000NTD for a driver a day.

Plan to cover Mushroom Garden, Shinshe castle, Lavendercottage, Carton King, Sea of Flower, Moncoeur (if possible)

Car rental's about 2000NTD/day (correct me if i'm wrong)
Worry is the traffic and road condition over there.

I think you better put in more buffer because the roads may not be so straightforward, might get lost. Unless you map out everything prior to your trip and confirm with your minsu/hotel upon arrival.

Why you wanna save 1000nt and self drive? Have you factored in petrol price in the 2000nt rental? Plus your own effort to drive still worth? Pay some one then enjoy the ride since you are on holiday.
