I have a sound reactive device powered by molex connector. It has 2 3 pin slot connected to two CCFL blue tube.

I always hao lian this to my friend.

TBH, from the day i mount the led, i hardly see my internals de.. lol...

If to show off to friends, then maybe yes. But if for own eye candy, i think need not go so expensive options.

haha the deepcool led is really not bad. for 2+ bucks save the trouble of running around looking for the right molex connector and led strip and having to find a place to help you solder.

spent 1 whole afternoon doing that at SLS and SLT before - from now will just use the deepcool led.

Someone, DIY parts outlive commercial parts based on others experiences though YMMV. Happy can le, only sad when its spoil... lol

Lol i just DIY for myself. I lazy go entrust all those ready made ones.

Terrible quality and easily blow.

I ended up just re-skill myself back into soldering again.

I always buy this few items....


1. RGB Controller
2. Whatever LED Strips
3. Heatshrink
4. Sleeves
5. Some thin soldering lead

And just DIY.

But only been using for two months, so far so good except adhesive strip not strong, but the adhesive strip is 3m branded so...

Hopefully more manufacturer come up with rgb led kit for pc soon

yup like what roy said.

for myself, buy the 5050 rgbw led strip. only need to diy 4 pin molex/2 pin fan pinout to 2mm barrel plug. can set your colour and brightness.
