Sending parcel overseas (held by customs?)

Hello everyone,

Not sure if this is the right thread to post in.

Anyway recently ( 18/7/2016 Monday) i sent a registered parcel to my friend in Japan via singpost. But unfortunately the status right now last update (22/7/2016 Friday) is "Held by customs". Anyone been through this before ? or know whats going on ?

The only thing inside was a small doll keychain, Tshirt, Sweater and a postcard.

Is it too early to panic or...

Registered but normal speed? I'd keep an eye on that status and give it up to a week before wondering.
