helloooo...have been following this thread for some time but wasnt a member. ..hehehe finally decided to become one. .. :) i also got a queue number for KW TP~~ :D hopefully can get a nice unit

Hi! i've got a queue no. 73 for Tenteram Peak. Very excited as we've tried for a flat for many times but the queue no. always exceeded the no. of flats supply.

Wld like to ask why do you guys prefer blk 117? Cos i thought there may be future constructions for other residential developments right opposite.

:) :) :)

cos facing cte may be more dusty and noisy and 116 is nearer to the cte. ..117 is the furthest away and if facing the other side should have less dust and noise. .. :)

Anyone heard that recent trend shows that HDB deliver flats earlier than estimated (sometimes like 1 year early)? heard from some friends it's like that. Maybe they purposely estimate longer to deter crazy number of mass applying for good sites?

i think they just want to save their asses so that they won't get complained if they fail to deliver it later...
also, completion ends earlier also means that $$ kicks in earlier as well for them, so why not?
so it's quite misleading as we don't know what's the buffer time.. i've heard earlier completions as early as 2 yrs to 6 months... :s11::(
also, some of the signing of lease agreement is also getting earlier.. thats when u have to pay ur 10% or 5% downpayment (staggered downpayment) too plus those stamp fees, legal fees :(

would like to ask if those applying for ahg grants, their date of signing the lease agreement would be later compared to those 'straight-forward' cases, i.e. no grants nothing..?

Hi just wanted to ask.. I read on the forums somewhere that we are able to monitor the que number that HDB is serving for the day. We are able to access it on myhdb. May I check with you... we are only able to access this information after they open the selection period right?

  die if signing lease also earlier, I was hoping 4-5 months to bank in more CPF and cash out bonuses, if not can dry clean bank account.

I'm hoping they deliver earlier though, 5+ years is a bit too much.. if you say got 2 years earlier then it's just nice.

quite afew of my friends got their flat like 1 year earlier, not only hdb, some bought ec and got it earlier too.

if you apply for ahg, the date of signing lease of agreement should longer than those who did not apply as your application need more time to process.

now that we got our q number, anyone know where can we see the price for each indivivual units?

i think someone mention b4 the cheng san site they are building on now is a carpark. so they need to buld a multi story carpark to settle the problem first before they can start building this bto. thats why need to wait abt 6 years.

that's what most ppl are hoping for but actually it's the safest bet to have adequate amt in both cpf n cash before applying... but then again :s22:

oh yes, complete earlier also means need to ROM earlier.. perhaps this is why alot of young couples are just settling with a simple ROM lunch and doing away with customary marriages... they are driving us up the wall also.. LOL..
amk states 5 to 6 yrs but i doubt so la.. maybe 4plus? but for those states 4 yrs from now.. perhaps 2 to 3yrs' time?

i dont think u can view the prices for individual units. they will send via snail mail in the whole package. im also interested to know the prices as it would affect the choices due to $$. :s13:

good thing that application of ahg would delay the signing of lease agreement so that more time can be stalled to accumulate more $$. rather use cpf than cash ma. ;)

would be good if those who have experience can provide us with an estimation of the time difference between those straight forward cases who didnt apply for any grants and those who applied for ahg grants... lol

You can estimate roughly by deducting highest price to lowest price and then divide by number of floors minus one.

That's a rough calculation of extra $$ to pay per floor.

Yah, I also heard another friend sign lease super damn long when she was applying for ahg. Luckily we still can qualify ahg.

I understand that the terrain and the carpark issue can make the construction longer, but I think it'll still like 4 years plus ba, like what shootingstar88 said.

By the way, ahg computation will be based on the application date right? Sept/Oct 11 - Sept/Oct 12 salary?

if I'm not wrong, the last time I applied (May BTO) still can see from myhdb, but my next application (Jul BTO) like can't view already, but don't know whether that's because my queue number is damn high for the latter one.

But yeah, if it's viewable, it'll only when the selection period has started.
