helloooo...have been following this thread for some time but wasnt a member. ..hehehe finally decided to become one. .. :) i also got a queue number for KW TP~~ :D hopefully can get a nice unit

cos facing cte may be more dusty and noisy and 116 is nearer to the cte. ..117 is the furthest away and if facing the other side should have less dust and noise. .. :)

hmm, do u guys think the 117 side will have future residential blocks built in future that will block it?

Hey guys!

First off, congratulations to all who have received queue numbers that they're happy with.

I've applied for a 4 room unit in CCK Quad and received a queue number of 100. Feels like a fake number haha.

Anyways, this is my very first time applying and I am quite nervous as to whether I would be eligible. I don't know what HDB would constitute as eligible but for those in the know, do you guys think I would face any problems getting a 4 room flat?

Some information about myself, I've been working at this Company 1 year plus and am earning $2.5k. My girlfriend is working part-time as she's currently studying.

Last I checked, my CPF ordinary account has about 20k in it whereas my girlfriend has about 5k in hers.

Based on the information above, do you think I should be worried?

Miss how do u monitor the q number?? pls teach mi >.<

Firstly i checked how many flats have been selected at this link: http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10321p.nsf/w/BuyingNewFlatShortlistedApplicants?OpenDocument

For punggol 21 4 room, 754 total - 546 left= 208 units selected

Then i check myhdb for last queue position, which is at the same screen where it tells you your queue no. There will be a section which says:

"Queue Number

Last Queue Number invited for selection of a 4-Room flat in Punggol 21 under the July 2012 BTO exercise as at 20 Oct 2012 : 00241"

So 241-208= 33 numbers have dropped out, out of 241 numbers!
That makes out to be about 13.7%.

If from now onwards nobody drop out at all (theoretically), last queue will be 754+33=787.
If you want count at the end average drop out rate remains at 13.7%, means about 104 people would have dropped out and final number will be 754+104=808.

HTH!

HLE will not be ideal and might be quite low coz only u working as of now. However when flat is near completion, HLE will be reviewed again and plus ur wife's income, confirm loan amt will increase (unless she no intention to work and u holding same pay). There is a bit of risk here like what if you guys are unemployed at that time, which leads to loan amt being unable to increase so will have to use the current HLE amount granted to you now.

AHG wise can apply coz you work more than 12 months consecutively and less than 5k pay. Base on your 2.5k income, can get about 25k-30k.

Stamp and legal fees no problems coz your cpf seems to be sufficient!

So the only worry i think is when the date is near completion, will you guys have enough income for HLE amt to be increased. At that time if combined income more than 10k wont affect also. If earn less than 2.5k, the amount will be base on the HLE amt granted to you now which means have to top up cash for any shortfall.

I think selection will have no prob as well despite low HLE now. Hdb wont know maybe you have large amounts of cash right. Hahaha.

Update us again after your selection alright! :)

sure got cos the site plan did state site reserved for future high rised residential development but these are some of my thoughts:
1. i dont think the plans would be so soon cos already TP has low pick up rate...unless TP is 80% filled then i think the plans will go ahead..so many empty units i dont think they will want to waste resources to build another so soon...
2. even if they build, i dont think it would be the type where you open window you can see into other ppl's home cos its a different project altogether. ..i think there would be a buffer in between projects otherwise ppl will get lost searching for blocks. ..

thats what i think la. .. :D
