Separate volume slider?

One of the things that really bothered me with my HTC Butterfly S is that notification and ringtone volume uses the same sliding scale. My ringtone is damn loud while my notification is damn soft.

So I tried Volume Master Free separate sliders for ringtone and notifications. When I slide the ringtone slider to the left, the notification slider follows to the left. WTF?

IS there any way to rectify this?
