japan is best visited during the sakura, autumn or snow season. given your budget and date/time limitations, why don't you consider hokkaido? it's autumn over there in late september/early october.

Hmm, i'm open to anything since i got quite some time to do planning. Was planning Hokkaido 2-3years later.

Maybe 14days Hokkaido + Tokyo this time? 6 days in Hokkaido and 8 days in Tokyo. Or would it be better to just spend 11 days in Hokkaido/Tokyo. ?

How's your schedule like? I could only take 14days off at most 18days for me.
