Hi.

I am interested to use AiCloud on my ASUS router by plugging my 3tb hard disk.
I searched online on how to set up but to no success.
My requirements are:
1. Accessed by IP Address or website
2. Can be accessed anywhere(even when not connected to same WiFi network)
3. Multiple users can access

Hope someone can teach me step by step.

One more thing, my 3tb hard disk is an internal harddisk. Must i buy a 3.5" enclosure or can i just buy a usb to sata and plug it in?

Thanks so much for help.

sorry for the system i do not know how to do it.

as for ur 3tb definitely have to buy a 3.5" enclosure, with usb 3.0 plug and power plug for it, u cant buy it off with a usb to sata, cos u will still need a power plug to power up the hdd.

oh, i think you want to set up a NAS with a public IP so it can be accessed over the internet.

1) login to you asus router and setup the DDNS (So you can access using a name, rather than a IP because IP can change each time your router reset or determine by your ISP, unless you sub to Static IP address)
2) Go to Administrator -> System tab to Enable Web Access from WAN
3) Follow the guide for AiCloud, should be straight forward from here

I can just create any name for DDNS? No need additional steps?
