Setting up iTunes Match & iTunes USA account legally without risk in Singapore

Apart from keying in e 1st 5 digit a valid USA ZIP that matches the 1st 5 digit of ur postal code in Spore, u oso need to ensure u enter the corresponding City and State in USA that matches e 1st 5 digit of ur Spore postal code.

Also u must enter e mobile phone number that is e official contact number between u & AMEX.
And the mobile phone number must be entered in e following format (say ur mobile number is 9234 5678): 659 234 5678

you can use amex or visa prepaid cards. Use a real US billing address (you can google any business store address) also change the iTunes location to USA. you do that by going to the bottom Location settings.

2 things:
1. iTunes gift card can't be used to activate iTunes Match.
The objective of using a credit card is to activate iTunes Match.

2. Pre-Paid is still a hassle. U need to top up all the time. Why go thru e hassle when all u need to do is go thru a 15min pain to use ur own Spore Credit Card and everything will be automated, easy & permanently established.

what about other cards issued by amex directly but not through the local banks? eg. amex platinum

You only need the prepaid card one time to activate the iTunes Match. After that iTunes will charge your iTunes credits first before charging the prepaid card.

So you can get the minimum value available and make sure you have some iTunes credits in your account.

Next year you will need to put some iTunes credits in your account for the renewal. There is no need to buy a new prepaid card.

How do I know? Have helps thousands of people setting iTunes Match from outside USA

Also IMPORTANT
You will be taxed based on the address you choose. So do not choose CA or NY states
Choose state like OR (Oregon) and DE (Delaware) to pay no tax

Will just remove again the credit card entered.. Any issue with this?

Just set up a new iTune account with existing local corporate Amex card.
As per your advice, search for US equivalent zip code/city of my SG postal code.
Rental a movie and it works. Thanks for the advice. No more buying of gift card from now.

After activating iTunes Match or buying with ur AMEX, removing or not using the AMEX, or reverting back to Gift Card will not be an issue.

Try activate iTunes Match.
Delete all ur songs after Matching is completed.
And let the iCloud re-download new fresh copies with good quality & legal copies

Matched songs will retain our artwork (if it is missing the first place, it will be still missing). How do we obtain the missing artwork for matched song?
