hahaha, it is a bundled deal, u have to buy unit trust or insurance to get 2% interest on deposit, then u dun know TD for how many mths only and max how much.

Why go for TD and savings a/c pay better interests? ocbc 360 up to 3.05%

yes alr have ocbc 3.05% hehe..
now trying others.. see which best

for the posb promo, can i transfer $$ to my other bank, then transfer back to posb?

i too poor to qualify for hsbs time deposit promo....
their T/C say to be eligible must first have a 100k deposit into one of their other product lol

It is worth placing funds on Aussie or NZD ..saw the interest rate for maybank aussie rate is 3.35 and NZD 4.25 per cent....Looks very attractive.

Think about this: your Aussie deposit throws off 3.35% interest, but AUDSGD has dropped 3% since the start of November. Bang, you've lost all your interest for a year. This is why foreign-currency fixed deposits are always a bad idea unless you actually need the money.

(And you'll pay about 1% to get in and out of it).
