i honestly don't know why they keep want to go green, we are so small and hardly have any impact. everything is so expensive as well. to recycle u need electricity and LOTS of water.

it's probably more profitable to ship it off to china to recycle, or just bury in landfill

If the gov is serious about sustainability, then why allow food establishments to replace plastic spoons with wooden ones? It cuts down more trees. Why not mandate the use of metal spoons?

Take mac as example, how many kg of wooden fork, knife and spoon are discarded daily? Equivalent to how many trees?
