I will be taking jetstar to Hangzhou end of this month and intend to take the shuttle bus to shanghai immediately upon arrival. Please advise
- if i need to pre-book the bus tickets
- how far is the shuttle bus station away from the arrival hall.
Thanks

You need not but you could.

As to where to board the bus, the information is available here. Hangzhou shuttle service to Shanghai | Jetstar

Thanks for response. Please advise how to prebook the shuttle bus ticket from Singapore. Had tried calling Jetstar only to be told that the shuttle bus is not operated by them and thus not able to get the tickets thru' them.

backup plan could be to catch a cab
2nd backup plan is to catch a black cab :p

there! all contingencies planned for u haha :D

I would add on to the list.

If you miss the shuttle bus to Shanghai from HZ.

Don't fret, head into HZ city, find a motel168, bunk in for the night and catch a train/bus to Shanghai the next morning.

Cabbing to Shanghai from HZ is just not worth it IMO.

Hangzhou should not just be a transit. I enjoy Hangzhou a great deal over Shanghai.

Sorry, should have give more information on the request.
Convenient as :
- near train or bus stations which can easily bring us to places of interest in Hangzhou.
- near shopping and eating areas
As this is our (2 senior citizens) first trip to China, I am being more kaisu, thought i better find more details before setting off on this trip.
Thanks.
