gsm? what about using 3g network?

i heard there's a way to use the 3g network, not sure about it.
you could ask around though, what i know is that my phone can only use gsm.

but when its on gsm, it burns pretty dam fast.
i'll say less than an hour and a half.

Is your hypersim type as software unlocked should be able to use 3g. You should be a heavy user as bro speedknight mentioned in his review that it can get by a day with moderate usage. Usually gsm should be better than 3g in terms of battery life.

never play game, when i used it in the past, i only dared to use whatsapp and surf the net.
couple of minutes and you can feel the battery slowing dying when you look at it.. :s13:

oh no, sounds bad. Was thinking of getting this phone when the news of software unlock was out. Battery is definitely one issue to consider.

ya... i was suggested to get a battery pack + software unlock for it, but honestly speaking if you don't do much with the phone it probably can last more than a day, 24hrs of standby time take about 50% of battery... :(

According to Sharp website, talking time for 3G and 2G is the same @ 230mins.
As for standby time, 3G can last longer (300mins) than 2G (240mins).

通話時間(静止時)※1 W-CDMA網:約230分/GSM網:約230分
連続待受時間(静止時)※2 W-CDMA網:約300時間/GSM網:約240時間

Since your 007SH is a hypersim unlock model, you can't use 3G network and not to forget that the hypersim also consume some power, that briefly explain why the battery drains faster on hypersim unlock 007SH.

I got my 007SH unlocked recently too. With heavy heavy Whatsapping etc, the phone can last me about 3.5 - 4 hours. Otherwise, on low usage it will actually last me up to 7-8 hours. I achieved 10 hours before but I need JuiceDefender for that.

I feel the battery is better as I used to wait a long time for my FB to load due to GPRS data. It's much faster and saves my battery too.

Am now having an Energizer mobile charger but will probably buy a mobile charger with higher capacity.

I use a phone pouch to protect my phone. Got to be kind of big enough as the phone is quite big.

If you tried restarting many times and it doesn't work, high chances are that the hypersim is damaged because it's very fragile. You got to get a new hypersim in this case.
