- Importer for this device in Malaysia is now Thorus Technology.
- Has in two variants: SD630+4GB RAM+64GB Memory, or SD660+6GB+128GB Memory. The one in bold is the one to be sold in Malaysia.
- Equipment Price: RM1,299 (approx. SGD 427.51).
- Actual Launch Date: 6th January 2018.

Ahh, good point about the sd card and headphone jack. those are plus pointsProblem is, the Essential Phone sells only in United States and Canada Markets with no plans to sell them beyond these regions, unless you import it here as an Export Model, with no guarantee it will work with local or Malaysian Telco bands (which are purely GSM-based). Sharp Aquos S2 also has two things Essential Phone lacks: 3.5mm dedicated jack (not sure if Essential Phone ships with a Type-C to 3.5mm dongle) and a MicroSD expansion slot.

So I can conclude that after sales support in the form of software update is non-existent.
