Shikoku itinerary for comments

my itinerary for upcoming trip next week. for comments


day 1:
- arrive at KIX 7.15am. KIX -> Wakayama
- Kishigawa line to Kishi station to see cat station master [anything else to do at Kishi or along the way?]
- Wakayama Castle


day 2:
- Kimii-dera and Kankaikaku
[anything else I can do in Wakayama?]
- Wakayama -> KIX -> Matsuyama (via Peach, 7.15pm flight)


day 3:
- Matsuyama castle
- Dogo Onsen


day 4:
- rent car drive to Mount Ishizuchi [anybody been there b4? issit very siong to climb to summit?]
- drive to Shikoku Karst, stay overnight there


day 5:
- explore Shikoku Karst
- drive to Uwajima visit Uwajima castle


day 6:
- visit Taga shrine in Uwajima
- drive to Yusu Mizugaura to see rice terrace
- drive to Cape Sada
- drive back to Matsuyama to return car
- Matsuyama -> Imabari


day 7:
- cycle Shimanami Kaido
- Imabari -> Takamatsu


day 8 :
- Konpirasan (may not go coz far and very difficult to reach the shrine)
- Ritsurin koen
- Sunport
- Takamatsu -> Tokushima
[is there any place I can go to have a look at Seto Ohashi bridge?]


day 9:
- Narotu whirpool
[issit worth it to go up Mount Bizen?]
[worth it to see Awa Odori dance at the ropeway station?]


day 10:
- rent car and drive to Mount Tsurugi
- drive to Oku-Iya Kazurabashi


day 11:
- drive to Manikin
- drive to Okobe Gorge
- drive to Iya Kazurabashi
- drive back to Tokushima and return car


day 12:
[anything else to do in Tokushima city?]
- take highway bus to Osaka
- visit Abeno Harukas [issit worth it to got up to the observatory?]


day 13:
- shopping and eating in Osaka
[can recommend some nice food?]
[any free observatory in Osaka, similar to Tokyo metropolitan building or Bunkyo civil centre?]


day 14:
- morning flight back to sg

wakayama city itself is pretty blunt...sort of like a tier-2 or 3 city in Japan....you can make a trip from Wakayama city to see tama stationmaster if you are interested in cats and railway stuff

yup, I will be going to see stationmaster. but because it is a weekend, Tama is off duty, so can only see Ni-Tama.


originally I didn't plan to go Wakayama. but because the Peach airfare for the day I land in KIX is a few time more expensive than the next day, so decided to make a trip to Wakayama for a night before returning to KIX for the domestic flight

I just hope it doesn't rain on the day I am going there. weather forecast says rain... hope it changes
