Quite subjective, the term "best place".

Are you talking about man's or woman's shoes?

Sports shoes or for formal wear?

Do you want high quality leather shoes or cheap PU shoes?

There are boutiques that only sell Clarkes or Hush Puppies. And there are shops which sell all sorts of brands, but not the high end ones.

And there are those BATA shops which used to be called Buy and Throw Away, but since the last ten years or more, they have upped their quality somewhat, while still targetting at the low to mid ranged budget shoppers.

Charles and Keith is a women's shoe shop for low to mid ranged budget shoppers. They produce new designs at the rate Swatch and Seiko come up with new watch designs.
