you still have to ensure that the link you click is valid. even you click a valid link, later shopback still can deny clicking.

than still have to spend the effort to dispute, for a few dollar?

can easily hit a substantial amount if you keep doing hotel bookings etc.

Yes, i just got my first cashback in my bank account but its quite a wait for the rebate to be credited into the shopback account, i still got a lot of transactions still pending. It work like ebates, topcashback etc if you are familiar with these sites. I used hotels.com instead as hotels.com have one of the lowest price + welcome rewards worth 10% + shopback cashback. :D

Till today, i wonder why the rebate is still quite a wait for it to be credited into the Shopback account.

Previously when they have Grab under their merchant list, I get the cashback of 20 cents within a day or two after taking the Grab ride. Unfortunately, Grab is no longer participating in their merchant list.

Just used the one time 100% cashback at Guardian (capped at $10).
Shopback indicated that the cashback is being credited but needs a few days to confirm the amount.

At first I thought this was too good to believe. But it actually went through. So basically free $10 to shop at guardian?

The $10 cashback (assuming u max it out eg if u buy something which cost > $10) will be immediately reflected in the app.
However Shopback needs to confirm with the merchant that the sale went through, so the actual cashback that is available for withdrawal will only available to be a few days later.

If anyone is interested, you can use the link below to sign up for bonus $5. Together with the guardian cashback, u can withdraw $15 immediately (assuming u max out $10 guardian cashback)

sneaky adding your referral code there ! everyone take note

knn, got scammed

Thought when you were advertising your referral code here you were telling everyone can immediately cash out $10+$5?

I think people should open your eyes and think deeper

"immediately" refer to don't have to go earn non-bonus cashback the slow way
Not immediately after the transaction

Don't take things out of context

And ohh, I remove the referral code
No one signed up FFS

You think it's unfair? C'mon, what's $5 to me?

Helping someone get $5 when they wouldn't otherwise is a good thing
Don't criticise because you are butt hurt about not getting $5 rofl

And don't forget, they have to spend $25 before I can even cash out

Don't need to write a butt hurt essay here. Don't need your $5. You're the one advertising and now say you kena scammed. I have already cashed out over $2000 from them.

Asking about another scenario. If somebody newly signed up using a referral link and then spend $10 at guardian, when can they cash out? Just the $10 is enough? Or must have other cash back amount first?

AFAIK, so long you have $10 you will be able to withdraw the amount. Do note that for some cards (e.g. DBS, Citibank) spent in Guardian, it will appear immediately in your apps as "Pending verification" while some cards (e.g. UOB Cards) will take up to 7 days for it to appear as pending status.

Are you sure?

Why do I see lazada slash/team referral links in this forum?

That means it's not strictly banned
In those cases, it is upfront disclosure of joining a group for a specific purpose and those are more about teamwork to achieve something.

In your case, it is (1) not disclosed upfront you have embedded a referral link, (2) you are enjoying personal benefits out of it and (3) misleading info about the promo. Had anyone reported you, your post would have been deleted. I am not sure if there are further consequences though.

If you are still in denial, you may want to know that an AMEX referral link thread was deleted recently.
