i hope they close down, been having too much hassle using their stupid addon and end up all my taobao (close to $3-4k item) cannot be tracked. Reason being is that i might did the wrong way zzz. I remembered that it show as tracked when i finish my payment and end up they wanna prata

Yup, it is more like scam. Better not using it as it can make you so unhappy for feeling to be cheated.

I also got cheated by shopback twice for not giving my 2 bookings with expedia, looks like shopback pocketed my money too.

Can I suggest you d/l the shop back buddy onto your chrome browser,so you know yr shop back is tracked?

As per norm, ensure you do not open too many tabs in the same browser as well

I used the extension and the transactions were tracked. But when the merchant didn't give the cashback and I wrote in, shopback just said "we don't get paid if you don't get paid".

I thought that i was the only one facing this issue with Shopback. Noticed that only the $0.15 to $0.88 cashback were timely checked. Sometimes after waiting for 45 days after your trip, the cashback simply got rejected.
It’s all about luck.

That is correct ... and the shopback buddy does not work on ALL sites.
I had a lot of problems 2 years ago.

But to be fair, past 1 year, their tracking seems to have improved.

Mine are mostly Agoda, Expedia, SIA & Lazada ... made very carefully eg) on Agoda, after one booking, I close everything, then re-login ShopBack, Agoda to do another booking

However, I am certain if some cock-up somewhere that is not your fault, ShopBack will not pay.

No use. At last minute, the cashback you "tracked" when suddenly to be "confirmed" as $0, and they will tell the cashback $$.$$ they have been showing to you just for "chance" only.

My $20+ cashback from Expedia hotel booking just disappeared like that after I completed my trip.

Even no any cock-up, ShopBack still refused pay. It is like random if you would be paid for the cashback you tracked.

Got two Expedia hotel booking for same trip, both using the same DBS 10% code, and both got email from Shopback for the cashback and tracked. After my trip, one cashback ($30+) confirmed as $0 but the other ($10+) confirmed as $10+. Checking with Shopback why no cashbaak for the 1st one, they replied becasue I used 10% DBS code. Arguing also no use, Shopback just refused to pay and din reply my email anymore.

It's already stated you cannot use promo code that is not listed on their website. No point arguing, at least got one. Plenty of us followed all the steps and did not receive rebates and they don't care either. If they really didn't get any payment from merchant then they should buck up and fight harder for the cashback or they will be out of job soon

I din check if the code is listed on their website. If really as what they claimed, then how come I got rebate for the 2nd one? Shopback paid me out of its own pocket? Can't be, right?

Also wondering except for those without any CC, if really anybody will not use the code for 10% discount, just for the sake to get suffering for 6% cashback from Shopback? - okay, maybe those booking for biz trips then to claim back from the company.

You ask me also no use. I am not shopback. But it was very clearly stated all along that cashback will not be given for using promo codes not listed in their website

past 1 year, I have been able to use the 10% "SAFRAXXX" on Expedia & also Agoda 10% promo codes, and managed to get ShopBack cashback ... maybe just luck .. but very careful in booking

I used to be able to get rebates for agoda, expedia, klook, redmart, Guardian, honestbee etc. However, my recent bookings at Klook are not awarded with rebates anymore....
