Shopping in BKK

hi guys, i bring gf for shopping at BKK. 5 days 4 nights....
So what i research Pratunam Market, Platinum Fashion Mall & chatuchak plus Chinatown..... is it enuff to cover? any more place shd i add in???? thanks for all the help

Think 5days abit too much haha. Pratunam Market and Platinum mall you can cover within one day, is just side by side. I will add in Centralworld and Big C supermarket, since is just nearby each other only. Then next day can go MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery Centre, which I dont think their things are cheap. Finally, the third day you can go CTC in the morning and Chinatown evening onwards.

they spent two solid days just inside platinum mall
if your trip is for gf to shop, think the places you listed is good enough

first time there or been there before?
if first time then i guess MBK/central world/siam paragon good to have a look though there's nothing much to buy there
siam square is another place you can take a look, especially the night market

Wow 5D4N, that's alot of days. If shopping wise, a day or 2 in weekend chatuchak market is good enough already. They have like everything there [cheap nice design clothings, accessories ..etc] . Pratunam Mall too.

Rest of the day can go sight seeing. Floating market, dining ..etc. Else luggage overload man

Yeah, MBK/central world/siam paragon things are more expensive, CTC clothings are cheaper

Can try to go to Srinakarin road there is a vintage market, previously was known as Talat Rod Fai (Railway market). It is near to a shopping mall call Seacon Square...

Terminal 21 also not bad, for guys level 2 is dedicated to all our fashion needs...

You can try going Siam Square (The whole area opposite Siam Paragon), there is a lot of shops inside, like a Far East Plaza/Bugis Street concept...

Union Mall is not bad too (2 Mrt stops away from Chatuchak market)

Ya, but fashionable, if you can afford to fly to BKK, i think a 500 Baht shirt is ok lah as compared to the $39.90 shirts you find in Far East Plaza...

any one have any idea from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pratunam how far? i wan to book my hotel around that area. is the MRt there able to get there?i read it take 30 mins to 1 hr to reach huh? since first day bring light baggage so still can go take train

30-35 min by airport shuttle train, alight at rajaprarop station, walk 5-7min to reach Baiyoke Suite hotel area. Walk from there to Platinum Mall is around 5-7 min. Cab is around 500B.

Shopping mall : MBK, Siam Paragon, The Central , all not cheap.
Siam Paragon, The Central is like Orchard Road, the things not cheap.
MBK clothing not cheap, better to buy from CTC, 60B one t-shirt.

two couples trip.

Shopping and massage a MUST!
Just put aside 2days to shop ba.

But I think guys nothing much to buy.
Just tailor shirts etc.

Include some sightings:

Terminal 21. Different departure/arrival halls.
Things are unique but X. But if you see the unique things you really fancy better buy. Cos I doubt other places you have.

Go for floating market and check out maeklong railway:

I'm skeptical on deals gimmicks

I bot bali hotel stay.
No show for my pickup And I have to call the hotel.
Hotel said tour agency didn't give my arrival to them.
Oh well... Luckily hotel is good and staff friendly.

My gf her Phuket's hotel still under renovations.
Have to call tour agency in sg.
luckily they agreed to change another hotel for her.

But Time is wasted.

not as cheap..
but is a good place for photo taking and to explore... very nice place... Even every toilet has a different design.. haha...
it is a good place to spend the hot afternoon...
